Where are your products made?

Our products are made in the UK.
Who supplies your ropes and yarn?
Most of our crochet items are made with Bobbiny ropes or Bobilon T-Shirt Yarn. Our chickens are made with Bernat Blanket yarn. Our pumpkins are made with Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick n Quick.
What if I want a different colour, personalised or a bespoke item?

Orders
Where can I buy your products?

We are an online retailer and sell through our own website.

Why are some items only available to pre-order?
​
We are a small company, and our items are handmade. We want to give our customers choice, but we do not keep all of the items we are able to handmake in stock, all the time.

What methods of payment do you accept?
​
We accept all major debit / credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and AMEX. We also accept PayPal as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Can I cancel my order?
​
You may cancel the purchase at any time up to 14 days after delivery unless the goods are exempt from cancellation. Personalised items cannot be cancelled or returned.
If you choose to cancel, please contact us, preferably by sending an email to hello@astercottage.co.uk
You may use the model cancellation form in our Terms and Conditions, but you do not have to.
If you cancel your purchase, you must arrange and pay for the goods to be returned to us at:

You must do this within 14 days of notifying us of your wish to cancel.
If you cancel and return the goods as described above, we will refund the full purchase price, including the original delivery charge, on the condition that you have not used the goods or otherwise handled them so that their value is reduced. If you have handled the goods so as to reduce their value, we may deduct an amount from the refund that is proportionate to this reduction.
Refunds are provided within 14 days of our receipt of the returned goods.
What do I do if there is an error with my order?

Deliveries
Where do you ship to?

We ship anywhere in the UK. Unfortunately, we are only able to ship to UK destinations.

What is your shipping charge?
We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 and charge £3.50 per order for shipping unless you spend over £50; in which case, shipping is free.
When will I receive my order?
Allow 3-5 business days from placing an order to receiving your goods, unless the item is pre-ordered or personalised.
What packaging do you use when shipping orders?
We reuse packaging from all our suppliers and others. When we cannot reuse packaging, we use new packaging. If you do not want your items shipped in a recycled box, please let us know when ordering.
