Introduction

This website is operated by Aster Cottage. Aster Cottage is a trading name of Triangle Ink Limited. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Aster Cottage.

By visiting our website (“Website”) and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions” or “Terms”).

Note: our store is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Orders

We only accept orders for our products for delivery to the UK. Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice.

By placing an order via our Website, you are making an offer to Aster Cottage to purchase and for the delivery of the goods detailed in your order upon the terms described in your order.

Once you have placed an order for goods and delivery, we will send you confirmation that your order has been received, but this is not a confirmation that your offer to purchase the goods or for them to be delivered has been accepted. A contract between you and Aster Cottage for the sale and delivery of our goods will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched to you. Payment will be taken at the point of order placement. This does not affect your legal rights.

We are unable to amend or cancel any orders once they are placed.

Deliveries

Please note that a delivery charge will be added to your order value where appropriate. Aster Cottage shall receive such delivery charge in relation to the delivery of the goods.

We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 and charge £3.50 per order for shipping unless you spend over £50; in which case, shipping is free. Allow 3-5 business days from placing an order to receiving your goods, unless the item is pre-ordered or personalised.

All dates quoted for delivery are estimated delivery dates only and may be subject to change. Aster Cottage does not accept liability for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) if delivery takes place at any time other than the estimated date for delivery.

Conformity of goods

We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct. However, the descriptions of products on our Website are not intended to be binding and are intended only to give a general description. Please note that while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we do not accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used to view the products.

Cancellation and returns

You may cancel the purchase at any time up to 14 days after delivery unless the goods are exempt from cancellation. Personalised items cannot be cancelled or returned.

You may use the model cancellation form in the next section, but you do not have to.

You must do this within 14 days of notifying us of your wish to cancel.

If you cancel and return the goods as described above, we will refund the full purchase price, including the original delivery charge, on the condition that you have not used the goods or otherwise handled them so that their value is reduced. If you have handled the goods so as to reduce their value, we may deduct an amount from the refund that is proportionate to this reduction.

Refunds are provided within 14 days of our receipt of the returned goods.

You have the right to receive a refund for goods cancelled in accordance with the above terms. However, if you would prefer to receive alternative equivalent goods from us, or a credit note, please let us know and we can consider appropriate options.

Consumer rights

If you buy goods from us, we have a legal obligation to supply goods that are in conformity with the contract. If goods are faulty, the processes and timescales above under 'Cancellation and returns' do not apply, and we will deal with the problem according to your consumer buying rights. On-line store terms

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. Those under the age of 18 must have the permission and supervision of their parent or guardian to use our Website.

While Aster Cottage uses reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information on this Website is accurate and up to date, it does not give any warranty as to its accuracy or completeness, and Aster Cottage are not responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results arising from the use of such information.

Aster Cottage does not guarantee that your use of our Website will be interruption or error free and are not responsible for any disruption, loss of or corruption of any material in transit, or loss of or corruption of material or data when downloaded onto any computer system.
